Shown above is a well-crafted, slightly bluish-green tourmaline cut from material mined in Pakistan. This stone has a step-cut pavilion with steep end facets. The crown (the top portion of the stone) is also step cut, but there is no table facet. The overall craftsmanship (symmetry, facet meets, polish) is excellent. This gem would look great in a custom jewelry design.
