Bluish-Green Tourmaline from Pakistan

Shown above is an expertly crafted, slightly bluish-green tourmaline cut from material mined in Pakistan. This stone, cut to a design by Robert Long, has a pointed pavilion; a feature that, for an emerald-shaped stone, results in very good light return and scintillation. The craftsmanship (symmetry, facet meets, polish) are all excellent. This gem would look great in a custom jewelry design.
Except for the expert faceting, the gem rough for this stone, and the stone itself, have not been enhanced in any way.
