Shown above is a very well crafted tanzanite of light, slightly purplish-blue color. This gem would work well as the centerpiece in a pendant or pin.
Note: This gem has been heat treated (450 degrees C for 1 hour) to improve its color. Essentially all tanzanite gemstones on the market have been heat treated.
