Shown above is an attractive light-blue sapphire from a famous US gemstone locality.
The clarity of the stone is very good, and the faceting is fine. The stone displays
fine light return and scintillation. It would look great in a small pendant, pin,
or ring.
This sapphire was faceted from gem rough that had been heat treated to improve the color.
