blues, yellows, greens, reds, oranges, and pinks. Much Australian sapphire is dark
and very dichroic. Viewed in one direction a sapphire might be dark blue. Viewed
in a different direction, the sapphire might appear green. The sapphire shown above
shows flashes of both deep blue and blue-green. This expertly faceted gemstone would
look nice in either a pendant, pin, or ring. |
