The rough gem crystal was predominantly lavender in color, but there was a tiny yellow area that was retained after faceting. At one viewing angle the stone appears lavender in color. At a different viewing angle the stone appears almost yellow. This stone is another example of the unusual color combinations that come from the Gem Mountain, Montana, gemfields.
