An Olivine "Bomb" Weathering from the Ejecta Rim of Kilbourne Hole

Here is a nodule that is still half encased in the light-colored volcanic ash in which it was burried when Kilbourne hole exploded. A couple hard blows with the rock hammer revealed nothing but more very fine-grained shattered olvine. Oh well, keep looking. Back to the trip report.
