Shown here is an expertly crafted Four Peaks amethyst of fine reddish-purple. The above color is that seen under strong tungsten light. In sunlight the gem is a pure purple, displaying less red color. Like most Four Peaks amethyst, this gem is moderately color zoned. This is a large gem that would serve well as the centerpiece of a pendant.
